Entrepreneurship - The first steps

It is now about seven months ago that I can call myself an official entrepreneur. It is a special journey full of discoveries that I certainly did not want to miss. That well-known comfort zone, that's where I got out in search of adventure.

I wonder if the timing to start as an entrepreneur is ever perfect, especially if you have just bought a new house and have children who are still in their diapers. The biggest challenge at the moment is finding the time and using it to take the first steps as an entrepreneur. It will not be unknown to many that you are busy at the most crazy times to arrange matters, work out ideas and take action. Step by step it must then lead to progress in the right direction. Luckily I have the support from home which is very nice, although the little ones sometimes make it difficult for me ?.

One of the things that I picked up at the beginning is addressing my network. I have submitted my ideas to several people and asked for feedback. A good way to sharpen concepts and hear from others how they experience the market. There are so many possibilities and chances, with the big pitfall that you can sink into it. Doing something close to yourself and what you believe in. The latter in particular is essential if I want to be able to convey my ideas convincingly to others. This is also the best, because you want nothing more than to occupy yourself with what you fully support?

How do I distinguish myself is another relevant question. There are already so many parties that also offer comparable services. One agency is even "slicker" than the other, technological highlights and all data-driven - isn't this the future? Fortunately I also notice that there is a great need within organizations echt contact with people. That very big empathy factor that you can't do very much with a beautiful online technology system. How will you connect with people, groups at the highest and lowest levels of the organization? This is still the biggest condition if you want to grow and develop as a person and as an organization. Fortunately for me there is still a great need here for people to increase insight and self-knowledge, to work on personal development and to develop skills.

Developments within organizations do not stand still and with new generations entering the workplace a lot of new dynamism is created. Existing concepts around leadership, culture and authenticity are challenged. As an entrepreneur, it reassures me that despite the vast amount of knowledge that is available everywhere nowadays and despite the most wonderful technological systems, every organization is in a different phase and has different growth challenges. The added value of the consultant or consultant is in the real contact, the search for added value and bringing a piece of inspiration and energy. Only through genuine collaboration can you come to valuable solutions.

I have a beautiful profession and I am proud of that. I am happy that entrepreneurship gives me the opportunity to contribute to the development of people and organizations. I look forward with full courage and sometimes look back to see where I come from. Then I see that I am well on my way, I have already taken many steps and have taken the necessary risks.

The creative process continues and the next phase of entrepreneurship presents itself. Properties that I have in this new context get even more meaning and I experience that as very instructive. Step by step forward, sometimes with a jump in the deep and sometimes a step back.
